Take an "Intro Flight" with an experienced soaring instructor over the skies of beautiful Saratoga Springs in one of our Grob 103 Dual Control Performance Sailplanes. This includes a one-day membership in the organization.

Do You want to learn how to fly a sailplane?

Adirondack Soaring a club dedicated to the art and science of flying sailplanes (gliders), rather than a commercial glider operation. As such, we do not sell glider rides for those simply interested in a one-time flight experience. We are, however, actively interested in helping potential new members experience the joy of soaring. Our goal is to build and maintain an active and safe flying organization with people from Saratoga and the Capital Region. To that end, we offer an introductory flight lesson aimed at encouraging those interested in learning more about the Adirondack Soaring Club and the sport we love.

The flight will be in one of Adirondack Soaring's Grob 103 Performance Sailplanes with an FAA certified flight instructor and dual controls.

Introductory flights are about 15-60 minutes, depending on the weather and thermals, giving you the opportunity to experience first hand the thrill of silent and graceful sailplane flight.
